Video Problems
I'm hoping somebody can help me. I have 2 videos that I accidently deleted from the recycle bin on my computer, I managed to recover the videos but now they won't play properly, they start to play but won't play the whole video for some reason. Is there anybody who knows how to repair the video or who knows how to sort this problem out?

RE: Video Problems
If the videos won't play perhaps the files haven't been recovered properly. You could try recovering them again with different data recovery software.

Thanks, i will try some different recovery software. I have tried a couple of other recovery programs but they didn't recover the file, the one that did was recuva.

RE: General video playback and download issues
These data recovery tools are usually good at recovering small files, like documents or images, but not so good at recovering large files like videos. I don't know how big the videos are that you have, but I'd say that basically the bigger the file size the less the chance of a good recovery.

I think your best bet is to find an effective video repair utility.

What kind of videos are you trying to repair? I mean what is the file type?

RE: General video playback and download issues
MP4 is good because they are easier to repair than some, although it all depends on exactly how damaged the files are.

If the files aren't too badly damaged you might be able to repair them for free and without too much trouble. Try using VLC because although it's known as a video player it can often repair damaged videos as well.

if the files are severely damaged and VLC or other free tools can't repair them, you would have to try a professional video repair tool, but that would be an expensive option if it's only for 2 videos.
