Except Mayweather isn't really noted for possessing huge knockout power. He will also be giving up 12 years of age and come with 2 years of ring rust. On the other hand McGregor is noted for having a heavy punch, on the end of a left hook being a southpaw, another attribute in favour of McGregor since Mayweather has struggled with southpaws in the past.
But on the surface of things, you have to think Mayweather has the real advantage here, it's his back yard and his game so he has to be favourite. I just hope Connor likes man-hugs because I get the feeling he's in for a few

I'll be backing McGregor.

Anything is possible with Conor, who would have thought he knock out jose aldo in 13 secs. Being a UFC fan, hope conor does it but heart says mayweather

get the feeling Mayweathers ego will never let him get beat by someone who hasnt boxed professionally

like a comment Ricky Hatton said a few months back about a fight said if me and Oscar del la hoya never touched a glove on him Mcgregor has no chance

Mayweather, the greatest P4P fighter there has ever been ? both Sugar Rays would have outboxed him, stood him on his head and knocked him out. I can think of a few others who would have beaten him as Well. Mayweather is a very good fighter but his main asset is the way he got the right fights at the right time, his self promotion and business sense have kept him at the top.

Ok this generations Pound for pound will still put mcgregor on his ass

and how many fight in the UFC with a boxing background? I think there a fair few
I cam remember (and I am sure this did happen) Ali taking on the world Karate champion or something when he was in his prime this certainly has the same hallmarks as that fight.
