Leyton Orient FC

Well the fit and proper person test is absolutely useless. Multiple people have owned clubs and brought them to their knees or worse. It's pathetically poor. Leyton Orients story went pretty public, non paying of players and staff for at least a few months maybe more, pitch protests, causing matches to be halted and the FA did nothing. I agree there should be a fan or at least a third party on each football league clubs board making sure everything that's promised is done and everything that should be done is done. Within 3 years from almost getting promoted to the championship to non league, sad story.

I ahave always believe our voices as fans are never heard properly by those in charge of he clubs we support and I would think many of you would agree with me

No he passed the test and what's more he would have passed any test that anyone set for him, because he was a very successful business man with an unblemished record. At the time he looked like the perfect buyer and there was no way of knowing in advance what a horrible mess he would make of running a football club.

thanks for putting me right mate in that case the test needs to be more stiffer iand in suc ha way that clubs themselves have a way of getting out of trouble if things go wrong

It was very nice to see Orient win 2-0 away to Woking this weekend, after a horrendous result in midweek, losing 6-1 to Bromley. After such an embarrassing performance it's good to bounce back like that, especially when another defeat looked likely.

Steve Davis sacked.

Club Chairman Nigel Travis said "There is no doubt results haven’t been up to the required levels over the last 2 months. We showed a lot of promise in the early part of the season and unfortunately that hasn’t been sustained, so we felt it was time to make a change in order to give us the best chance of turning our fortunes around for the second half of the season."
