just seen on twitter that the actor John Heard has died aged 71

Best known for being the Dad in the home alone movies as well as staring in films like big and beaches and role in the sopranos

he always seemed to play politicians in his later career, and was good at it. R.I.P.

Always likeable and watchable in everything he was in.RIP

Really sad news just watched him in a Ep of the show APB and before that saw him in Elementary. R.I.P.
