He wants to win the Balon D'or by being voted the worlds best player by his peers, commendable...but he felt he was not going to win that until he is at a team where he is the best player, Messi mucked that up for him at Barca.Does not matter where he goes Messi and indeed Ronaldo will always be better than him.Reading the press today me thinks its purely greed again if you can believe what his new salary will be.He wants to be to Brazilians what the greats of the past were. I.E Pele he is joking.Football itself is money driven and we all know how that will pan out in the end, there is only so much money and us punters only have so much and will only take so much.Sky are in the middle of the transfer window silly season part 1 its all money money and what the overall spend will be, they rely on the football and football on them so what do you expect.

Your argument is nonsensical.

Barcelona would dearly like to keep the player, but if another club meets his buyout clause there's simply nothing they can do about it.

So why didn't they make sure the buyout clause was so high that nobody would ever be mad enough to pay it? Well they thought they had done that.

Barcelona are sulking and have threatened to report PSG to UEFA for breaking the Financial Fair Play rules, but that won't stop the transfer.

They did thats why was a 214 million Euro Release clause

Sorry dont care who you are but if someone wants to spend 214 million euro on getting you out of a contract you wouldnt really say no
