Yes, providing the rest of europe follows suit otherwise it would put english clubs at a serious disadvantage.

How would it be a disadvantage?
Seems like an advantage to me, clubs would be able to buy players whenever they choose, including buying from overseas clubs who wouldn't be able to replace those players until their own window next opened.
This is the argument against ending the window at the start of the season, if other european leagues have their own windows still open, they could buy from the english clubs who can't get replacements.

It hasn't been, and never will be, open at the end of any season (past say March). To do so would be patently unfair to a less wealthy club in the running for promotion, Europe, the league, anything. It would far too easy and obvious to simply 'buy' success via a big player or three over a small run in of games.

There are more than enough advantages and status quo propping for the wealthy sides (UEFA's FFP - no wonder most wealthy clubs were so keen!) without giving them anymore. Rolleyes

The idea that the babeshows "are not that deep" is driven by those that don't wish to acknowledge how much effective customer service and a consideration of psychology impacts users' future interactions.

Yeah just mean top 4 can transfer all the top players that are on the form

example of this was Dundee United and Celtic a couple seasons back dundee had beaten celtic and in the jan transfer window celtic bought 2 of Dundee uniteds best players and then beat them in the cups

it would be a disadvantage because european clubs could buy english based players and then english clubs couldnt buy replacements

Nope, in the situation described, it would be the exact opposite way round.

You didn't say why. What benefit would there be in having transfers all year round?
