It has been revealed that Ellie Soutter one of Team GBS best Winter Olympic hopes for 2022 died suddenly on her 18th birthday on Wednesday,


Team GB "have described her as a well liked member of the team" She was considered a rising star in the sport, having won bronze at the European Youth Olympic Winter Festival in Turkey last year.
She was just 16 at the time, and it was the only medal Team GB took home from the event, plus a bright prospect for 2022.

Thoughts and prayer to her family and friends & Team GB in particular,at this time.
