The previous 2 weeks appeared to have predominantly easy choices, whereas with this weeks matches there are very few that jump out, most seem to be a 50/50 call, very tricky indeed. I expect to edit & re-edit numerous times before I submit in time for the dead-line.

Oh Cool! Got my joker and my top score on week 25. But there were 2 extra matches. Week 26 not so good, but glad the Hammers finally got it together, probably for the first time this year, and beat Brentford 4-2 with the help of a Jarrod Bowen hat trick.

Well, if I'm going to be robbed of getting the 3 points by goals in added time, I don't mind it too much if West Ham are the team scoring those goals

Good call by fazzer77 for correctly predicting Sheffield United 0 - 6 Arsenal. Could have easily been 9 or 10 as the 6th goal was scored after 58 minutes.

The 3-1 scoreline for Man City v Man Utd was popular and I felt a bit of an odd man out that I was one of the people who didn't get it. But I seem to have made up for it by getting the Spurs result correct and am now 3rd, my highest ever spot, tie on points with 2nd placed Stemm, behind only on score difference.

After bouncing along in 16th place for ages my first ever table topping week has seen me leap forward one place Could this be the start of a title winning surge

^^ Great effort mate, jokers are a great way of climbing up the table, but they're not easy to land.

I keep going on about the comparison with this & last season, it is some indication although a few different teams & differing match-ups, but still the overall standard has been high.

Your own points tally would've placed you in 4th last season. I've just hit 200 which was the same a the League leader last season, but I'm currently 8th.

After 29 weeks I can finally announce that I suceeded with my 1st joker.

And being the top (joint) points scorer for the last 2 weeks.

I'm claiming a personal low record for week 29, nil points, some mitigating circumstances with only 4 fixtures, but still.
Week 28 wasn't much better, with just 5 points. Tricky sets to predict on I thought, on a number of occasions I zigged when I should've zagged. I have a habit of editing a few scores before I submit them in time to make the deadline, this is proving costly. Perhaps a different strategy is called for after the International break, trust my gut instincts.
