Another joker. yay! It's good to get a joker and be top scorer in week 35. But I really needed consecutive jokers to mount a serious title challenge, so Man Utd let me down last night.

I'd like to treat this as a bit of fun and not feel the pressure, but I did feel that I had to get the Luton v Everton result right in week 36 and for the popular 1-1 scoreline to be wrong, or the game was up. The 1-1 scoreline came to pass, and dionne was one of the people who got it, which contributed to him wiping out the gains I made against him in week 35. His lead is looking insurmountable now with just 2 weeks left.

Feeling like things are insurmountable is not the idea I wanted to give across when I host this. It's supposed to be fun, not stressful because you feel something let you down. I'm kind of sad you felt like that.

Don't worry about me, it's my OCD. You're doing a great job! Just keep doing what you have been doing for another couple of weeks then go to somewhere like Ibiza and let your hair down

Not too much to shout about from me this season, so to top score in week 36 was a welcome surprise, coupled with a joker. All resulted in a jump from 11th to 8th, but with only 2 rounds to play the 10 point gap to 7th will be hard to close, more likely would be a slide back to 11th given how tight it is.
To cheer myself up, I've looked at my performance from last year, I have been aware that a below par return of correct scores has been the difference, 3 jokers this season seems about average, but still half of what I got last year. So I decided to disregard the jokers & correct scores & count everything as correct results. Using this simplified method last season came in at 188 & this season is 187 with 2 rounds to play. It's a good indication of how close we all can be to improving our points, quite often a late goal will result in dropped points, fine margins.

Have no idea what you are talking about because it seems like everyone is having fun on this thread including me.

I would need more than a bending of truth to improve my performance that's for sure .

I'm going to go all Trumpian and claim result fraud all season.
It was all Biden's fault. Either him or some other Democrat .
All my predictions were correct but the teams gerrymandered the scores .
