Thing is, looking at that division, sides like Darlington, York, Stockport and Hereford are all what I would think of as proper league-quality clubs, but they've all dropped through the trap-door and they're not gonna get promoted back this season, or perhaps any time soon.

And Preston are doing a bit crap as well.

Preston always have a shittish start and always get close to the playoffs
