RIP Shane Rimmer

Shane Rimmer , three James Bonds and the voice of Scot Tracy in Thunderbirds and Coronation Street, has passed away.

Age 89 he had a good life and after the recent spate of people going to soon, it is good to report on someone who had a good life

Genuinely shocked and saddened to learn of his loss. He was a stalwart of Gerry Anderson productions appearing in several programmes like The Protectors, Thunderbirds(Scott Tracy) and Dick Spanner the P.I.(as shown within Network Seven back in the 90's) He was also in early Coronation Street episodes as a GI Joe Donelli, three James Bond films(mentioned by Kevin555), Superman, Batman, Star Wars and other films. He also lived in the same area as myself although a good few miles away. He also wrote episodes of various Anderson programmes too including Zeke's Blues(The Protectors). As a member of FANDERSON and the Facebook group of the same name I've seen many, many posts remembering him and he will be sadly missed by all us fans and group members.
