Very sad indeed, she was a cousin of Helen Mirren and by all accounts a good person, spending her income from Bond on her mother and her brothers education.

After Bond she never made another film instead returning to modelling

Odd that she didn't get the lead role in the earlier Bond film, 'From Russia with Love' because of her English accent.

In both films the girls were voiced over by another girl.

FRWL was Daniella Bianchi and I think Nikki van Zyl did her dubbing as well. She played Tilly Masterson who takes a pot shot at Bond who then manages to catch her up and using the hidden buzz saw in his wheel slices into her car sending her off the road.

Conditions of work and money played a part

As a studio girl the conditions of employment were not good for her as they were restricting, in addition she was offered £50.00 per day for Bond before they agreed to up it, as a model she was making £150.00 so model work won.
