Slow threads problem?

Ive been using both AOL and IE and had problems.

I checked out the forum from work earlier and everything was fine. But now I'm at home (and using a different ISP) it's definitely somewhat slow. Maybe anyone who still has issues can mention what ISP they're using?

There is a problem somewhere in the internet 'backbone' which is causing intermittent speed issues. This site itself is running normally, but some users may find it appearing to be slow at the moment.

The main reason why some threads are slow is because people embed lots of full size pics in a single post instead of using thumbnails.
Full size pics are nice, but they do slow things down. I tend to use thumbnails if I have more than a single pic to post.
I have noticed that ImageChunk seems slower today.

That is a good point TheWatcher. I have noticed that myself. Apart from that problem, the forum seems very fast today, so the backbone must have been repaired.
