Brian Walden

The televison presenter and Labour politican who was known for his hard-hitting interviews on London Weekend Television's Weekend World died last week. I forget his age though.

^HE must have been well into his 70's or 80's I imagine. I think he was a hard interviewer and up there with Robin Day for the tough time he gave politicians

Think he was 86. He was a bloody sight tougher than Andrew Neil or Andrew Marr could be a in a month of Sundays.

On the other hand, he supported Brexit. Heyho.

He was a hard hitter on interviews but if my memory is correct he went easier on Conservatives. Harder the Andrew Neil, but never as well prepared as Andrew Neil.

A resident of the Offshore Tax Haven of Guernsey and a supporter of Brexit, perhaps not the best supporter.

None the less still a decent politician and a good TV presenter
