He was on a hiding to nothing tbh with the change of oppenant at short notice. he got complacent it can happen to even the best i mean Douglas vs tyson is prime example seen the comments of Tony Bellew and he was spot on

Don't know why anyone thinks is a big upset, Joshua is one of the most over rated boxers ever. For a long time he has been fed a diet of has beens and no hopers in a cynical attempt to boost his profile and make him look the real deal. Eddie Hearn probably looked at Ruiz and thought he was just going to be more cannon fodder but that was a serious mistake and Joshua has paid the price.
