Didn't I read that in total UKAP received 250 votes last year, wasn't it just a few.
OK so perhaps there were problems with the thing but I was chuffed to receive Admin's private message last year and I voted straightaway as I'm about to now.
Can I ask that we all do it.....we're not saying there's only 150 of us are we?

I thought this was cancelled this year but since it isn't i am thinking about voting.

I'm unsure as to how many of us voted last year, but I had a look at the bottom of the homepage and there are 57,237 members registered.

Also the most users online at one time was 1,813 on 04-12-2012 at 00:19, and the most users online in one day was 26,918 on 31-12-2012 at 01:30

So I wouldn't be surprised if only 250 members voted last year, the channels aren't as good as they were in 2012, which then leads to no one coming on here.

UKAP should've definitely made our Top 10 day and night presenters nomination process public on here, rather than via private messages.

Also it'd would've been nice if they'd inform us of the process of what happens once the Top 10 day and night finalists have been chosen.

^^ totally agree with both points mate , if the vote was public and we knew we knew what would happen next then I am sure more people would be interested in doing it, a lot of people probably still disillusioned after last year,
I really hope they can find a way to make people think it's fair and more vote this time ,

Again totally agree with both points made, there is I suspect, still a lot of discontent over last year's debacle and would not surprise if the there is some member who feel they wouldn't want to register votes in case their vote was not counted i don't see the need for it to be done by PM, it should be open and transparent from the off.

Close. It was 260 people who sent in nominations last year. And the total number of nominations submitted was 3016.

What evidence is there, that there was any dishonesty with last years vote?
Because that's how some of these posts are reading...

Because that's how some of these posts are reading...

It's not whinging it's wanting something to be done fairly and justly ,
What SecretAgent said last year about votes like this he's done and how the winner was picked before the voting stated has stuck in my head, why are they doing it with secret votes unless they don't want us to know who was actually voted for and how many votes they got, they could claim anything after and we have no way of knowing if it true,
This is why I asked right back at the start of the year if things where going to be done differently after all the problems last year and was so sad to get the reply that they where not, now here we are and its starting all over again,
I wanted this to be a big success this year can't understand why everything is being kept from us,

UKAP need to explain why they have not listened to us and have not made this as transparent as possible and Admin need to explain why the PM route is in place forvotes
