WWE Extreme Rules - Discussion Thread 7/6/09

I didn't think it was a bad p.p.v last night,i don't get this revolving door policy on the championship belts no wonder Foley was ripping the piss on T.N.A. about it,it just cheapens the legacy of someone like Ric Flair who became a 16 time champion when the belt was a true status symbol and earned through merit not the whims of whoever the scriptwriter is this week.( rant over ) Best match of the night without doubt Edge & Hardy,the E.C.W. match was better than i thought it was going to be,same with the U.S. title match,at the time couldn't understand why Orton/Batista didn't last long after reading the previous comments about Daves injury,makes sense now.Jericho/Mysterio was o.k,Punk/Umanga to quote Larry David " EH",less said about Cena/Show the better.

I enjoyed the pay per view overall, my favourite match was the Ladder match between jeff hardy and edge it had some great moments. the other matches were quite boring and predictable... sick of Cena always winning

After watching Raw today i'm wondering if Batista got injured cos, maybe it was my imagination but his match with Orton didn't seem to on for that long and by the looks of things he will out for a awhile
