The State Of Wrestling 2021

Hey Peeps
Thought i'd start a thread about what you are liking and disliking about the current product
and what you think could improve it.

in general most companies are doing pretty well at the moment but there are things that could be better,
i would like to see younger wrestlers slowing down there matches this affects every company,
i would like to see selling come back proper and to see the end of big finishing moves being used mid match and kicked out of,
i would like to see new and better writers in wwe and aew,
i would like to see aew appoint a booker
i would like to see impact sort out there tag division,
i would like to see aew sort out there woman's division,
i would like to see wwe sort out raw,
i would like to see icw get a tv deal and start working with aew and impact even if they are not on tv,
i would like to see the aew multiverse become a success with some of aew young up and comers going to impact and coming back better, and aew and njpr swapping some big name stars for 3 month runs on each other shows,
i want to see fans back as then the people running the shows would have the reaction of the fans to guide them on who is actually over and what angles are working really looking most at wwe and impact for this,

1:Roman reigns current heel run if they had some faces for him to feud with would be good but roman has been delivering in everything he has done so far.

2:The woman's division overall has been probably the best thing on wwe tv this year, 90% of the women on tv look and carry themselves like professionals.

3:karrion kross and scarlett have been great and look great on camera how they are still on nxt is ridiculous.

Dislikes.
1:How little continuity this company has

2:Alexa Bliss & The Fiend what a fuck up completely ruined bray again...

3:Nxt has really gone down the pan and is pretty much unwatchable now

4:Too many titles

5:Match branded shows, i miss the days when there would be a surprise hell in a cell match that fit the storyline not a show called hell in a cell where the matches are in the hell in the cell for no reason

6:Randomly changing rules to matches like dq's in cell matches...wtf

7: Mandy rose has gone from being in a star making storyline with otis to cutting her hair and becoming a bland wrestler who could be released at anypoint.. shame on you wwe.

1:Visually Aew looks great, the stage, ring and title belts and overall production is great.

2:Cross promoting with other companies is in theory a good idea.

3:Taz has been a great hire his mic work has been really good.

Dislikes
1:The women's division is so bad. The fascination with tiny japanese women is killing this division the fact the put tiny riho over deeb this week is a joke. Anna jay and thunder rosa should be the faces of the women's division in this company.

2:Allowing anybody on thier tv show seriously the amount of people aew has employed that are completely worthless is insane its a good job khan is rich

3.Continuing and starting "Storylines" on a youtube show that only 1/4 of their audience watch.

4.Lack of selling in matches not every match needs 87 near falls or 55 superkicks and 40 dives a match, i don't think aew has ever heard of the saying less is more.

5.The booking of Adam page has been horrendous they had a chance to make him the first home grown star and face of the company but instead he is in a stupid angle with the dark order a bunch of guys who would never get on tv for anybody else otherthan indy mark billionaire khan...

6:Tony Khan playing real life gm mode needs to stop seriously the upcoming ppv is what a 7 year old would book on a game.

7:The referees need to be trained how to be referees the bald one is the absolute worst ref in wrestling.

1:How far this company has fallen it actually saddens me to watch it, i used to love tna when it was on the wrestling channel and challenge and to see what it is now is sad

Can't really comment on NJPW as i only watch wrestle kingdoms.
