Think it is about time they dispensed with the jury voting and left it to the public voting only would stop probably all the block voting going on.

^ We are not in the semi finals. Because we are one of the main contributors we go straight throught to the final.
However this works against us as the other songs then become known to the audience.

And regarding the juging panels. This was brought in to help stop one country just voting for their neighbours. If you remove anything it should be the audience voting.
We always faired better when the result was decided by panels.

But as the UK is toxic in the rest of Europe we are never going to get anywhere near winning. Better to just take the whole show as a comedy programme.

Was just looking at the tv schedule for tonight. The show is 4 hours long

FOUR HOURS!! I seem to remmber a few years where they were still voting well past midnight overrunning the schedule and BBC were keen to show the news..

Since the introduction of semi-finals in 2004, Ukraine as the only country to have appeared in them without ever being eliminated at that stage.

Thing is, if UKraine won tonight would there be a ban on travelling to Ukraine, given the conflist that is still going on there?
