Things I found out today: VIPs can't contribute; so can't help to make sure a gold happens (presumably because they will get it anyway). But they still have to suffer the crippled full screen while the osg is there!

^ So they sacrifice tip goal contributions from VIP’s for a £20 VIP per month subscription. That sounds like financial suicide.

On basic maths to see Danni Levy gold shows on her 6 appearances a month would be £30 if I have to do contribute a minimum of £5 for one Gold show as a non VIP. A VIP membership at £20 pm (and last time I looked you get £20 pm free credits so net cost is £0) so I would get her Gold shows for free and BS earn net £0 from me plus I could see unlimited Gold Shows from other girls

I used to write Business Cases for financial products but I’d struggle with this one!

Isn't the idea that regular conslstent money is better than occasional irregular payments of a bit more than single sub? A subscriber implies a regular user/spender; or money for nothing for those that forget that they are subbing (this happens a lot with many subscription packages apparently). I suspect the golds are intended as something of a loss leader there mainly to encourage subs. After all they only take up a few minutes of a babe's time to fulfil IF they are hit. The babes can work everything else as normal all other times.

But the tactic all depends on getting guys confident to spend on them. (This launch could hardly have go worse in that respect.) And if punters get to see gold targets are very rarely hit their Added Value to the VIP package becomes almost non-existent.

^ A loss leader has to draw extra spend to be successful. All I can see here is they lose the tip goal spend from VIP members who can’t even be certain at present that they can watch a Gold show as goals are not being met.

The non VIP members are not spending on Gold shows at present and the income from buzzes and tips looks like it’s taking a hit as well.

I don’t yet see how this will draw in “freeloaders” (can we say they are responsible for ruining the shows ) at a level where it becomes a profitable move but time will tell

In a wild extrapolation of this if all freeloaders signed up as VIP’s at net cost £0 where does that leave BS because there would be nobody to pay for a Gold Show

With more £20 or £30's a month than they had before, as a minimum. Each new sub represents a net cost zero only if they were spending 20 or 30 every single month before. I suspect the idea is you take a sporadic half fan, spending only when he feels real affluent, and turn them into a regular user; OR someone that forgets he is paying every month but his show use remains the same (i.e. his spend has increased some but he is using the streams at much the same rate). But preferably to BS, once a guy of this sort is converted to a subscriber, he likely becomes more invested in the shows/babes and prone to use what he has now more fully committed to. That's your extra spending. (This is provided he can be satisfied on a consistent basis of course. Giving him things for 'free' with his sub - like Golds - helps achieve that.)

Also you talk as if the babes can't do tip goals one hour and Gold Shows the next. Variety can help.

But as I say someone has to pay for the Golds first and at this point virtually no one is convinced by them. So I agree they've botched it atm. The osg thing has really done for it. And the adverse affects, listed with care in this thread, have stupidly been allowed to proliferate.

On your side comment, I never understood punters saying freeloaders are killing the shows. For BABES they might be an irritant at times (though would they prefer no new customers ever turn up? Because every one is a freeloader until brought into the fold) And if the idea is they represent vast lost revenue, then that almost complete fantasy IMO. There will always be a hardcore of lurkers to the free streams. (And those streams are a necessity to the shows that should be embraced more for the vital contribution they make as far as I'm concerned.) These hangers on are not getting off for free; not these days, just gawking. They're hardly the big deal babes make them out to be. From the payers pov, they are at worst a total irrelevance and, for me at least, easily ignored.

I do hear though that there is disquiet amongst the onscreen talent who are already seeing worrying signs that good spending regulars are not spending as much. They think as much about that awful OSG as we do and have said so.

Maybe. If they have to start refunding credits regularly though, they might come to realise the tip goal shows weren't so bad after all...

I've used gold shows on streamate. It's better than paying towards a tip goal on BS that doesn't hit it's target.

Most babes can easily get at least one of their tip goals completed, so it shouldn't be hard for them to complete a gold show target.

Yes, I accept you've had good experience with these shows elsewhere, but I don't think I've seen any confirmation that the refund system is in operation here.
