Actor Tom Welling best known for playing Clark Kent in the series Smallville has been cast in the show. He will because playing Samuel Campbell father to Mary Campbell and grand father to Dean and Sam Winchester.
He will be in a recurring role and will make his first appearance in Ep 7.

It's been pretty good so far, not sure about Welling though, I didn't rate him in Lucifer at all, hopefully he'll be better in this.
