Just like to say a Merry Christmas to all the forum members hope everyone has a fantastic Christmas with family and friends

Christmas 1951. I was sheltering in a fox hole on hill 355 in North Korea. My Christmas dinner was chicken legs I had scrounged from the yanks. The Chinese though not celebrating Christmas themselves paid us the respect of ceasing fire for the day. They left packets of tea on the front line wire with a little note that read "English soldiers, forget about the war have a nice cup of char" That day has lived long in my memory. I am so thankful to still be here in 2022 to wish all my friends on here a very merry Christmas and a happy new year. My very best wishes to everyone.

You know what Tommy there's a post every once in a while that makes me more appreciative and warms my extremely cold heart a little and yours did that. I'm going to risk speaking for everyone and say we're all glad you're here too mate and Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays (we're an inclusive place) to you and the rest of the forum. Just remember no matter how anyone is spending this time of year there's always a place for you here because in the words of the Skullster...you're all alright I suppose
