Star Trek: Starfleet Academy

I said a couple years ago it’s now been confirmed there will be a Star Fleet Academy series coming to Paramount+.
The series will follow the adventures of a new class of Starfleet cadets as they come of age in one of the most legendary places in the galaxy

Am hearing it’s gonna be set in the 32nd Century. I wonder if we’ll see Tilly in the show.

Hope Tilly is in this, she is my fav character from Discovery

Breaking news Actress Holly Hunter has been cast in the main role, according to Variety her character “will serve as the captain and chancellor of the Academy, presiding over both the faculty and a new class of Starfleet cadets as they learn to navigate the galaxy in the 32nd century.”

It has a lot of potential, provided they don't go too teen drama with the students, because that'll be shite. Needs to be proper sci-fi still.
I actually hope Tilly isn't in it, she's the most annoying character in Discovery imo. Ruins every scene she's in, went from okay to a knowitall pain in the arse.

Actor Paul Giamatti is joining the cast and will be the season’s villain.

The new logo and cast

The chances for me watching this are 50/50 depending on how they approach things anyway (please don't let Tilly be too annoying), it's good to see Picardo in the mix, the Doctor's evolution was great. A big plus also, is having Tig come back, Reno is just a really fun and interesting character. Those two are worth watching for sure.
