Afghanistan will feel this for a long time I believe! They had Aussies on toast, but as always - aside from Maxwell getting his fair share of luck - the old adage, dropped catches lose matches, was never more apt! Having said all that, G Maxwell is a phenom! Scary to think he was on one leg in effect too! He can write his own cheque now (as if he couldn't before) for his services. They will be queuing up to get his signature!

^^ Mujeeb has a history of dropping the simplest of catches. A star bowler since the age of 16, he's represented over 20 teams and played over 400 games, you'd expect that someone would've improved his very poor fielding techniques by now.

^^ Jonathan Trott looked so forlorn at the end. 'How the F--- could we lose that??' look on his face. They will never have such an opportunity to turn Australia over for a long time I would say! really not sure they did too much wrong (catches as previously mentioned). Maybe missed their lengths on occasion, but all the plaudits go to Maxwell. Could England etc have stopped him in this mood??

I'm not watching the England v Netherlands match but believe that they have brought Brook and Atkinson.

Brook had to play, all batters are out of form Malan aside. Livingstone was actually bowling well but not enough to keep him in the side. Wood has been very fast but has gone for a lot of runs and very few wickets. Atkinson had one good game and has been ignored. The selectors have shown faith in experienced players, and they haven't repaid them.
