Booming voiced bald-headed actor, I say booming voiced bald-headed actor, has died RIP

Best known for playing Fred, I say Fred Elliott in Corrie but he was also in a lot of 70s tv and movies including Clockwork ,I say Clockwork Orange.
The last role I saw him in was playing a wheelchair bound former cop living in Spain making hardcore porn films in his villa.
