Tony "pensioner" Knowles didn't look much cop.

The risk with some of these matches is you think "these people are so crap, even I could do better"

Igor Figueirido overcame Tessa Davidson
3-1 in the second evening match.

Defending champion Jimmy White survived a scare and fought back to see off Andrew Norman in a deciding frame.

Meanwhile Tony Drago saw off a very unlucky Michael Judge 3-1.

Barry Pinches cued nicely in a 3-1 win over former World Champion Joe Johnson.

The post-match analysis seemed to obsess with what skills Joe still had at his age. I was amused when Barry mentioned seeing the 1986 final when he was 15, which makes him only about 6 years older than me.
