Budget 2024 - Your thoughts

What are your thoughts on the Budget the first delivered by a woman Chancellor?

Three thought's
1. Levy down on beer That will reduce beer by an eye watering 1p a pint.
2. No rise in fuel duty

3. The best thing about her entire budget is the announcement.
"I will shortly be appointing our covid corruption commissioner"

Michelle Mone we're coming to get you. We want the money for the faulty PPE returning.
Dido Harding we want to know what's happened with the £37 billion that the Tories gave you for test and trace.

I think for many of us there probably wasn't a lot to be excited about but I reckon the pot hole thing will end up being shelved or the money for it will be allocated elsewhere by councils in their own budgets when they come to do their own budgets for essential services.
