Massive loss, brought great gravitas to every TV, film and voice role he did. A distinct thespian voice to rival James Earl Jones. He seemed to relish and knew how to play a Klingon as Worf's brother Kurn, and a memorable turn as a Hirogen in Voyager too. But his role as an older Jake Sisko on DS9 really was memorable, no wonder that episode is generally regarded as one of the best ever in Star Trek.
