Whats your favourite film?

There is a few threads in this section about a number of different subjucts but there doesn't seem to be anything about films.So I thought I would create this and ask you all what your favourite and worst films are.

I'm a huge movie buff and I've seen almost 2000 films.Its hard to choose a favourite as I have so many but if I had to choose one it would be Terminator 2 closely followed by Die Hard.Other faves of mine would be Aliens,Matrix,Stand By Me,Fight Club,Predator and too much more to mention.

The worst film ever is a very obscure film that most of you probably won't have heard of called Gerry - it came out in 2002 and stars Matt Damon and Casey Affleck.I can't even begin to describe how bad it is.Its basically the movie version of a sleeping pill.I'd advise everyone to avoid it at all costs unless you're looking for a cure for insomnia.

So what are you're favourite and worst films?

I've got too many to choose from back to the future was classic, batman dark knight, the die hard films and not forgetting ghostbusters and star wars too.

Where do i start batman and robin, what a load shit that was lol, how about you headlessman.

Batman & Robin is bad but there are far worse films out there like the one I mentioned above.All of those spooofs like Epic Movie,Date Movie etc are horrific.I saw the Happening last week - the film is about people who mysteriously keep killing themselves.I tell you what,I felt like killing myself watching it!
Have you seen the film on Sky Movies Premiere this week called Southland Tales.Its one of the biggest loads of shit I've ever seen!!

I never seen southland tales and by the looks of things am not sure i want too now lol. I forgot to say that i also like the jason bourne films and this film called grosse point blank with john cusack. Casino royale was really good better then i thought it would be.

true romance, usual suspects, american beauty, the bad luitenant, are some of my favorites.
meet the spartans, sex and the city, are total shite.
agree about southland tales, i saw it 18 months before it was released, they shouldn't have bothered. the only good thing in it was buffy playing a porn star!

If i'm to pick a top film its definetly True Romance followed by The Football Factory

Best recent film seen: Burn after Reading

Favourite film: Evil Dead Trilogy

So many good films to choose from. Like smcgill & BelfastBadBoy, True Romance would probably make a top ten. Others that spring to mind are Blade Runner, Hero, Kill Bill, Short Cuts, Crash, The Good, The Bad & The Ugly, Lord of the Rings, Y Tu Mamá También, Buffalo '66.

Also I'm a typical bloke so love the Bourne Trilogy & Bond films too (although I doubt any would make a top ten).

I'll avoid the obvious chick flicks for worst film - i tend to not watch them so there must be far worse than the ones I've seen. Worst non-chick-flick from the past couple of years has to be Cabin Fever. Complete crap, poor mans Evil Dead.
