Do the Babeshows go far enough? - TheDarkKnight - 11-11-2009 14:03

It might seem like a silly question, but it would be very helpful for the upcoming Ofcom consultation if we had some actual figures to go along with our moans.

This website represents the viewers/customers of these shows and, to date, Ofcom has been speaking for us and using it's interpretation of our attitudes to smack down and fine the shows.

It's time we took a stance and told Ofcom, in no uncertain terms, that in future, it should desist misrepresenting the viewers and customers of these shows.

...but I can't do that unless I actually *know* that's the case. So click the poll and let me know if it is, or isn't.

Thanks.

[edit] I'm asking about *your* expectations from shows of this nature. Not if you think the shows are pushing the current regulations enough. If you were in charge and you were making the rules up, would you allow more, less or the same as now?

A level equal to the average Michelle Moist performance would be good. Smile

By average, I mean half way between what she does when she's on Babestation and what she does on the sexstation online show.
(She was inserting Dildos and fingers on the sexstation online show last night)

in all honesty you cant realy say this is unbias or the poll is representative, most of us are men and to far is nevwer realy far enough...

It's not meant to be representative of the general viewing public.

It's supposed to be representative of the viewers and customers of the babeshows specifically.

i.e. the members of this forum.

I've just turned over to "Naked States" on Sky Arts 1 (it's midnight BTW). It's a documentary about photographer Spencer Tunick who photographs large groups of people naked in public places. About 100 men and women have stripped butt naked in a New York street, run towards the camera, and lain down in the road.

There were cocks bouncing up about down, breasts and female pubes aplenty.

But hey, it's Art. With a capital A. So that's OK with Ofcom.

Get real, it's wank material, and so is his project to photograph nudes in every US state, and the inevitable coffee table book. OK, "wank material" might be a bit harsh, but it will certainly engender an erotic response in most people. Get real, the concept of "artistic context" is largely artificial.

As to the original question, sexually explicit entertainment helps regulate normal healthy male sex drives, and can help couples by providing a nice shared warm up. There are simple low cost and easy to introduce controls that can protect children, so no, after some late hour at night, the babeshows do not go far enough.

Depends on The Show, some border on going where they could get into trouble, some play way too safe, some get the balance just right.
