Whats Your Favourite Book - *Kal-El* - 30-11-2008 14:54

My favourite book is Lucky Man a Memoir By Michael J. Fox, such a good book when you read about his life and struggles against parkinsons disease, it was such a touching book to read, i highly recommend reading it.

Well, I wish I could be all intelligent and say Tolstoy's War & Peace or a Dickens book or something.

But, Tolkien's Lord of the Rings did it for me - perfect absorbing book and completely took me to another world.

This book is awesome mate, makes you realize what the guy has been through. Having to time him medication just so people wouldn't see him at his worst.

Reading it made me feel happy and say at the same time, it was like an emotional rollercoaster.

Yes i totally agree with you kalel. He makes the big shot actors that are always getting away with drink driving/taking drugs just because they are famous look like pure scum. He a great role model!

P.S. I have the Lucky Man audio book. If you want me to upload it, just give me a shout!

Fly Fishing - J.R. Hartley has gotta be my all time favourite and also hard to find...

Currently reading To Fat To Fish - Artie Lange
Funny as hell bbut also sad in parts.Ive become a huge Artie Lange fan since listening to the Howard Stern show so i had to buy his autobiography. Also have The Chris Farley Show that i had planned on reading but the Artie Lange book arrived and it was top of the list for me.
