Rather than rush to be the one to setup a new thread for the sake of a new thread, would it not make more sense to keep all the discussion in the already existing thread - and then set up chat/discussion and caps threads once she actually starts?
Especially since there's no guarantee she's even on nights yet

Agree with that, the threads should be put up when the girls start, or a least when they appear on the schedule to start, with the extra proviso, that Chilly is under no circumstances ever, ever allowed to start either Gemma, or Emma Spellars threads. The curse of the cold one cannot be allowed to strike them.

good signing for elite as gemma is a good day babe and still appears in the papers so fits in to elite being home to glamour models

If she's starting on Elite then I don't see an issue with a new thread being started. People often create a new thread in advance of a girl starting. For example. Occasionally an anticipated move might fall through (especially if Chilly starts the thread!) but its not a big problem as threads can be moved, removed or closed. The thread where discussion is already taking place isn't a Gemma Hiles thread - its a general thread for all the Bang girls and isn't in the Elite TV section of the forum.
