so whats your rig setup and what do you use it for.

*disclaimer, this isnt a brag post, just wondering what you guys use to visit*

my setup is an i7 920,5870, 6gig, 2tb x58 based system. *self built to save money*
with dual 1080p monitors, os win7 ultimate sp1.

mostly used for productivity with pagemaker, some video compression and gaming. i dont wanna sound pretentious but i was given a pen tablet at xmas and have recently taken up drawing again.

i got it spec'd primarily for gaming as i knew if it could handle todays games it would handle anything i threw at it.

so what you got?...

I've got a laptop that I only really use for internet.

Windows 7 Home Premium, x64 based system, 4gig RAM with a 1.9Ghz processor.

I'm not bragging either, as I've no idea what any of that means Blush

not really a gamer so i only needed a laptop to download stuff

windows vista dell inspirion 1720 2gb ram 1.86 ghz duel core processor.

i have 2tb of extended memory and plug and play drives for other tasks. and 10 usb ports.

not a fan of windows 7 so i have stuck with vista

I haven't got a fucking clue what numbers and letters and shit I've got on my laptop and I care even less. Smile

It's a Toshiba and it's got an intel Pentium sticker, a Windows Vista sticker and a Toshiba Easy Media sticker, and when I switch it on it boots itself up, I enter my password, go to the UK Babe Channels Forum or wherever and I start reading stuff, looking at naked women and often post comments when I see fit.

Then at the end of my session I switch it off and go to bed or for a wank or whatever.

nerds, geeks etc. as long its switchs on and connects to the internet and plays champ manager i dont care. i have had my laptop plugged into my sony bravia with fernanda ferrari on screen, cannot get any better than that.

As for my own setup....its a 4 year old Dell something or other that works when I hit the power button Big Grin
