Unless they have a huge format revamp it'll be shite, hopefully Channel 5 will encourage the stuff we used to see on the show, you know, fights, threats of violence, nudity and sex, the good stuff

£40m a year for crap its like chelsea buying torres. it came out dated and rubbish since the 1st series which was ground breaking because there was nothing like that before. i thought big brother finally finished talking raising the dead and flogging a dead horse.

Big Brother got real old real quick, It ended up being a show full of fame hungry douche bags who would do just about anything. The first was good as it was something not done before but as the years went by it got worse and worse and after 10 years it was time to end it.

The first series of Big brother was ok due to it,s novelty value and although MTV did have their Real world series some time earlier, this was the first time it had been bought to the masses by a terrestrial channel. There may even have been a case for a follow up series, but carrying on for 11 years was just ridiculous. It is also IMO one of the main reasons we now have the Z list celerity circus, the press have become obsessed with a bunch of talentless, fame hungry media whores who would do anything just to get their picture taken. Why channel five wants to inflict this appalling program on us i have no idea but i,m sure there will be no shortage of wannabes queuing up to try and get their five minutes of fame.
