I spoke with admin briefly at our Christmas party about putting together a little forum meetup where we can get to meet some of the faces behind the names on here and vice versa.
We're based in London so we're thinking of hiring an area in a pub locally and putting some money behind the bar, and have a informal meetup for our staff and the members of the forum.
Before we put something together, obviously we need to know if anyone would be actually willing to turn up. Obviously there would be some of our staff, some of the forum staff, our management and a couple of the girls there where possible, and a tab behind the bar
Would you come along if we held a meetup session? Drop your name in here and we can get an idea of numbers etc and see if its viable.

Sounds like a great idea, but, I'm not sure how many members here would want their identities revealed, myself included
I'd rather show up for a pint, say hi, have a brief chat, without saying what my forum name is. Almost as if I just happened upon the pub.
I don't know, it might be a success for you though, and could be fun! Best to rent out a pub like you say though.
If it was an invite without the requirement to reveal your forum name, then I think it might work better, though it might be easier to invite by forum name only.

not yet, just a simple yes so we know if it's worth us organising or not. then we'll make a more formal thread later on

So your thinking of putting BS staff,including a couple of babes together with a mix of fanboys & others who have critisized your shows,together in the same room ? Adding alchohol to the equation ! Might I suggest then need for security.Sound interesting.
