What a shitty frosty day,but still i felt warmer in the cinema watching one of the finest films i have seen in a long time,Martha Marcy May Marlene,no doubt this film will be go underappreciated like so many others, after seeing such a grand and skillfully made film i couldn't believe how much news coverage there was of John Terry being stripped of the England captaincy, boo hoo,it happened before, get another captain and move on,how easy it was to stop talking about the tragic incident in Egypt and focus on John Terry instead,Smackdown ain't on yet cause of the darts, yawn, how dull darts is,even though i know what will happen on Smackdown it will be worth watching, and then tomorrow we (Celtic) play Inverness in the Scottish Cup,we will not be atrocious, and also we (West Ham) play Millwall,God knows how that goes, time for a coffee

No time for full stops and no time for expert typing, the game isn't too far away, should do fine with Lennon, unlike that time with managing legend John Barnes, the day started off annoying for me,my cousin Melody phones me,she is from Bolton so she has a pretty strong accent, she says her mate from "ool" is visiting,i thought the phone cut out and maybe she said Liverpool or Hartlepool, but she said "ool",i asked her to spell it "H-U-L-L",and i was like "That wasn't the word you were saying to me",i have 17 cousins, situated all over the UK,here in Glasgow, and in Birmingham,Bolton,Hackney,Dorset and Londonderry, all different accents,it's great,we never understand each other,my Mum's side of the family is in Hackney,it's like talking to the cast of Eastenders, and sometimes they don't get what i am saying, must be the slang thing, just like some babes don't get it,well bring on our games and bring on the wins,so cold,so cold

Nobody outside of Hull can't say the name properly; it's pronounced "Ull", but most people (down south, anyway) seem to think "Hal" is acceptable.

..."Ool" is a new one to me, although there is "Goole", nearby. Tongue

I'm from Bolton and I've never heard anybody pronounce it "Ool". We all say "Kingston upon Hull, dontcha know". We're very posh.

Once you get to a certain level of posh, it becomes unacceptable to mention Hull in any kind of way - we're all very Common here, ya know?! Big Grin
