Reports suggest Paralympian Oscar Pistorius has been arrested in connection with the death of young woman,believed to be his girlfriend.
It is believed that Pistorius had mistaken her for a burglar.

seems to be a valentines day surprise gone wrong. his girlfriend had snuck into his house to surprise him, oscar pistorious thought she was an intruder and shot her is what is being reported at the moment

The South African police have said that the idea that the suspect had been surprised by his girlfriend and thought she was an intruder did not come from them or any official source. There had been reports from neighbours of shouting and screaming coming from the house earlier that night and police had also been called to the same house on previous occasions after reports of "a domestic nature".

Looks like he's being charged with murder.
The whole 'thought she was an intruder' story sounded like a load of nonsense from the outset, I don't buy that for a second.

Apparently he shot her 4 times, that's one hell of a mistake, and like smeone pointed out, pulling the trigger of a gun is not that easy, it takes some effort and force.
