The locals know the area where the clubs are as the pubic triangle so just get directions there. From what I've heard they are nothing special.

I did too, i was just trying to be of help as my brother lives in Edinborough and i am 400 or so miles away on the south coast Wink

One club in Edinburgh's called Burke & Hare. I don't know if it's any good, but being named after infamous killers is kind of interesting.

I'd recommend the Western Bar on the grounds that it's the least pretentious. Girls are friendly and are evenly split between Scottish and Romanian with an occasional Brazilian. It all depends on what your taste is though, as some people prefer somewhere more classy.
