I'd put money on it being a fellow babe that put Lola onto her now ever-present three-strap thong thingies!
For me, they are a woman's idea of what a man finds sexy! 
Regardless of source, IMO, they are also proof positive that it is not just the extent of material, or rather lack of it, that makes a garment erotic or not. No matter the colour, for sheer immovability and cast iron opaqueness, I think a babe might as well be wearing a castity belt as these things! Any stiring of the loins managed has to fight past the garment instead of being aided by it.
Anyway, I wondered if I am alone in being put off by these wretched excuses for cloth.
