RIP Brian Matthew - Charlemagne - 05-04-2017 13:10

Sad news that Brian died yesterday.
He worked for the BBC on various radio shows from 1954.
He presenting Sounds of the 60s in 1990. He worked mainly on the Light Programme, Radio 1 and Radio 2.

Sounds of the 60s was a great show to hear. Another of the many R2 broadcasters to die lately (Carrington, Wogan, etc). He was 88 I think. Sadly, they don't seem to make broadcasters in that mould much any more.

Good old BBC makes you wonder what else do they get wrong.....and their penchant for fake news as well...reminds me of the Sunday Sport headlines of old......
