i started watching this and almost gave up but i'm so glad i didn't, it's kinda hard to follow but that's completely intentional. it's one of those shows that let's you know what you need to know only when you need to know it. the story is multi layered and vague at times but if you stick with it the payoff is well worth it as everything becomes clear.
also the special effects are unreal. i think it's a rival to westworld, the expanse and G.O.T's in it's epicness!

Just started watching it and I had my doubts that it could do the book justice but from the episodes I've watched so far they've really nailed it.

Finally finished it, some very interesting twists and turns. I really enjoyed it and I'm glad I stuck with it, as I was a little unsure at first. It's not a switch off your brain and enjoy show, it's a thinker, but the questions it poses are very interesting and that's why you enjoy it. I don't think I have any real negatives to bring up, it was well written, the main characters were all well cast and acted, maybe one or two of the more disposable characters could have been better cast/acted, but they weren't gonna last so meh.
It's a love story of sorts which tackles moral questions, including immortality, a rich poor divide and shows how power corrupts.
If you're looking for an interesting show, give it a watch. I'd score it a solid 8.5/10.
