Well it's here and much to my own surprise I am running it
.Ironic that the baton has passed from one Wolves fan to another in the calendar year that promotion to this division has been sealed. I have a very tough act to follow but I will do my best.
So how will it work?
At the nearest opportunity each game week I will post the fixtures for the relevant game week in kick off order. Submitted predictions must be for ALL matches listed in the said game week. Bits and pieces submissions will not be counted.
The reason for this is to save time trawling through endless posts.
The nature of running such a comp takes up a huge amount of time and effort and I hope you all can understand my reasoning for imposing this rule.
Prediction submissions must be before the kick off of the first game of the said game week. If any prediction list is submitted after the first kick off then ALL predictions in that list will be disqualified so be careful.
The scoring system will be the same as last year with one addition.
Three points for a correct result AND exact correct score. One point for a correct result but non matching scoreline.
The one additional feature this season will be a JOKER for each game week.
You can play the joker for one fixture of each game week.
The joker will give you double points IF you get a corrrect result AND exact score correct for your chosen game of each game week. Please note it has to be an exact score to get the double points. A matching result alone will NOT score double.
Please clearly highlight the game for which you wish to play your joker.
A 'J' or the word 'JOKER' next to your chosen game will be fine
.I will update ranking lists at my earliest opportunity after all fixtures of the game weeks are completed. These will be kept very simple and streamlined.
So it only remains for me to bid all contenders the best of luck.
