Coronavirus in Sport - Kingsmind - 12-03-2020 23:48

This Coronavirus is spreading all over the place now , the Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has it now and a few other players have had it to but i believe Arteta is the first manager to have it , i really see the PL and other leagues being cancelled now as Coronavirus is getting worser by the second now one of the most vital people in football has it the managers.

He must of catched it of the Olympiacos owner and Arsenal played Olympiacos in the Europa League.

By the way Mods i know we already have a Coronavirus thread but i thought a Coronavirus in sport thread was a good idea so we can talk about the Coronavirus related stuff in sport.

Jurgen Klopp nails - "Jurgen Klopp: I've said before that football always seems the most important of the least important things. Today, football and football matches really aren’t important at all. If it’s a choice between football and the good of the wider society - no contest. Really, it isn’t"

The London Marathon has been postponed I now have doubts that the Grand National will go ahead and possibly the Boat Race as well. Over in The USA I know the NBA has postponed indefinitely but haven't seen anything for either the NHL or the XFL. So any update on those situations would be good to see.

Unless there has been a change this morning then all 3 national leagues are on as normal today,
Apparently the fa don't have control over the amateur and semi-pro leagues, it's up to them if they want to cancel or not, the southern and western leagues are off but the northern and national leagues are on all a bit crazy really
