WandaVision - Rammyrascal - 15-01-2021 16:56

Thought I’d start this thread for WandaVision as the first 2 episodes are now on Disney+

It’s bonkers & weird...in a good way Smile

So far quite good, however nearly a 3rd of the 30 minute run time of the 2nd episode is the end credits

I really enjoyed it. The I Love Lucy/Bewitched sitcoms parodies were well done, with a scattering of Marvel easter eggs thrown in there to add to the mystery. The chemistry between Olsen and Bettany bolds very well for this series, especially for Olsen for whom I suspect Wanda's emotional state are key to this.

Episode 3 is out today and it’s a brilliant fun episode inspired by the sitcoms of the 1970’s. Spotted easter eggs for Age Of Ultron & Captain Marvel

the episodes now have titles

Episode 1 “Filmed Before A Live Studio Audience”
Episode 2 “Don’t Touch That Dial”
Episode 3 “Now In Color”

I like the fact that although we're getting jokey classic tv show visuals, it's obvious that something very sinister is bubbling just under the surface.
I've not watched the third yet, but so far so good. I agree about the chemistry, they work very well together. Elizabeth is lovely.

I think this is the way they will introduce mutants/x-men in to the mcu
Elizabeth olsen is super fine Surprised

I read a theory about that earlier, it does make sense, considering just how ridiculously powerful she is.

It's all a bit Strange.

I don’t know why this really bugs me — I mean, who watches the credits anyway, so why should I care? — but it really does.

I have a friend who works on a TV show and he gets credited on every third episode, even though he works on every one. He says it is standard practice to keep the credits short. They should do that.
