I wasn't a fan and from a personal viewpoint can't say I'm that bothered, I never knew him personally.
Just goes to show how big he was though, there's people with pics of him on their windows and playing his music round my area, never known that with anyone else.

Exactly, thats what effect he will have for a while and beyond.
I did shed a tear as he has been part of my reality - through his work and as a megastar.
I feel that he was a product of his unimaginable fame.
It must have been quite scary to be scrutinised to that level.
Apparantly he had a tough childhood and maybe that contributed - or dare I say shaped him - into the affected person he became with his looks.
No amount of money can ease someone of their programming - I believe - from those early years.
What a true legend though - MAGNIFICENT!

I can't say I was a diehard fan but I did like his songs. I hope Jackson is remembered for the music. Nowadays people are famous for achieving nothing but Jackson's a bonafide legend. RIP Michael Jackson.
