Find the file in question, and on the right hand side you will see a row of five icons. Select the one that looks like a pencil. That allows you to edit the files details. RE: Megaupload - aceman65 - 16-06-2011 15:10 Just found out some news about Megaupload & it's sister sites. It seems Perfect 10 has waged a $5 million copyright suit against the file-sharing membership site Megaupload, as well as sister sites Megarotic, com, Megaporn.com, Megavideo.com and Megaclick.com. You can read the full story here. Although this news does not affect any videos posted of the babe channels. But it may affect any members that use those sites to store image sets & videos from membership sites. So you may wish to back-up those files. RE: Megaupload - SirAssAlot - 18-06-2011 09:21 Guys is there any security locks for megaupload that will stop people seeing / downloading what's in a members full filemanager?? The reason i'm asking is because there's content in my filemanger i haven't posted any where but it says they've been downloaded. Similar thing happened to one of my mates a few weeks ago, have you thought about putting a password on the content? Though sometimes megaupload counts someone looking at a file as a download so the numbers can be a little hit and miss - if we're talking loads of downloads though.. also is the content identifiable from the filenames you use? RE: Megaupload - SirAssAlot - 18-06-2011 09:51 The stuff that's being downloaded is the content i'll be posting here later today, It's weird i never had this problem with rapid so i might go back to using them. RE: Megaupload - alexxxi - 18-06-2011 10:07 have you ever tried using this? http://safelinking.net/# thats what I generally get when im trying downloading files online RE: Megaupload - SirAssAlot - 18-06-2011 10:17 Nope i've never even heard of that lol. There's no point in using that any way cause who ever is saving my links is doing it straight from my megaupload filemanger. I've opened a new mega account & I'm exporting all my stuff Then i'll delete that account. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Edit I changed my mind i'm going back to Rapidshare RE: Megaupload - aceman65 - 18-06-2011 15:23 The thing is, most videos posted on MegaUpload automatically get added to MegaVideo. So if someone browses the MegaVideo site and comes across that video, they could decide to download it rather than watch it. Does that register a download on MegaUpload as well? As that is where the original file is from. The only other way to protect your private content, is to zip or rar it with password protection. RE: Megaupload - aceman65 - 25-08-2011 21:09 Here is an update to the info I posted above about perfect 10 taking a $5 million suit against Megaupload. Seems the court has ruled in favor of Perfect 10. Full story here I wonder if this had anything to do with all the Mega sites scrapping it's reward points sceme. Bit underhanded if they are passing the costs onto it's members, by not having to pay out for reward points. |
