RE: TV Programmes (UK) - Recommendations & Discussion - terence - 23-10-2022 13:46 i might try the handmaids tale. does anyone recommend it? RE: TV Programmes (UK) - Recommendations & Discussion - skully - 07-11-2022 20:04 SAS Rogue Heroes is worth a watch, episode two was last night on BBC One, so it's on catch up if you haven't watched it yet. Based on the formation of the SAS, it's a historical drama from Steven Knight (Peaky Fookin' Blinders), based on the book by Ben Macintyre...true stories, mad true stories. The guys the show is about are badass and a little unhinged as you'd expect, worth reading their wiki's because wow. Watched the whole lot Friday / Saturday (it's on iplayer for those that can)... Brilliant series, very highly recommended. I've read books about Stirling and Paddy back then, the series could be described as tamer than real life RE: TV Programmes (UK) - Recommendations & Discussion - Doddle - 11-02-2023 21:11 Anyone who recalls a BBC2 series called "World's Most Dangerous Roads" from around a decade ago (repeated a lot on Dave since then) may wish to know a new series starts on Dave tomorrow night at 8pm. RE: TV Programmes (UK) - Recommendations & Discussion - andyjb - 03-03-2023 15:10 Starting this Sunday on BBC2 at 8pm, is a two part series called "Paul Whitehouse: Our Troubled Rivers" https://www.bbc.com/mediacentre/proginfo/2023/10/paul-whitehouse-our-troubled-rivers https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m001jw74/episodes/guide RE: TV Programmes (UK) - Recommendations & Discussion - Boomerangutangangbang - 12-03-2023 18:09 Channel 5 Ant & Dec's 30 Greatest Moments...........Beats me that they found that many. RE: TV Programmes (UK) - Recommendations & Discussion - Boomerangutangangbang - 26-04-2023 09:39 Blue Lights - 6 Part BBC Police Drama set in Belfast Series 2 has already been announced. Best drama of this genre that I've watched for some time, that good that I did the whole series over 2 days. RE: TV Programmes (UK) - Recommendations & Discussion - andyjb - 15-05-2023 13:43 Filming begins on SAS Rogue Heroes series two, as new and returning cast are announced. https://www.bbc.com/mediacentre/2023/sas-rogue-heroes-series-two-cast-filming RE: TV Programmes (UK) - Recommendations & Discussion - skully - 15-05-2023 14:59 ^ Good to hear, such a great show. They were all great, but Jack O’Connell was excellent in the first season.
