my pet hates include drivers that stop in the cycle zone at traffic lights and buses that indicate and pull out in one move just as you're cycling past! bladewave

Although there is an option to mount the kerb and bypass the traffic lights, I tend to wait at them. I have never made up in my own head if this is the right thing to do or not ? Huh

technically you should stop - Ross Noble included cyclists as one of his pet hates on Room 101 for this reason.

if it's a left turn (or no turn), i'll keep going.

I remember when I was younger, when I got punctured tyre from my bike and I was outside this person's house, who had a massive dog. The dog came running at me so fast and I was panicking, I thought the dog was going to eat me for dinner. So I left the bike there, ran for my life in the local church with the dog still chasing me. I stayed in the church for three or four hours, I was starving, so I decided to make my way home. I got a piece of luck when the owner returned home and this distracted the dog and so I sprinted home. I will never forget that day
