For Christ's sake I've just said it was fucking rubbish. I can't really be any clearer that I regard tonight's result and performance as failures.

Do you understand now or do I need to have another go? Tired of this.

I apologise regenerated mate, I knew it was shit tonight!!

Exactly - nothing's certain is it? If Poland and Montenegro roll us over at Wembley tonight's 0-0 draw won't be a great result then will it? Rolleyes

we just need to get a winning mentality which I think we lack in spades

Quite right. I want England to be aspiring to greater things than just draws against a half decent team. OK so we haven't lost any games which is a positive from the group as a whole. But its hardly been inspiring stuff - if they're satisfied with a shit performance like that tonight and a 0-0 bore draw then its high time the structure of the game as a whole in this country was changed.

If England had lost to Ukraine we would be playing for the runners up spot. A draw means we're playing to win the group. That's why a draw is a great result. Ukraine were the team that needed to win the match.

It's only great if the next two games are won by England, I clarified that in another post afterwards. Like I said, the two games against Poland and Montenegro still need to be won and judging by the evidence so far in this group, England will not win them, as they haven't beaten anybody of any consequence so far. I've already said that I'll be the first to admit it was a great result if the remaining two are won. Hence why I said its a 'not the end of the world' result, but not great yet.

We'll see after the next two games won't we?

Makes me laugh these days when you hear people in the media saying all this rubbish like 'we're just not a big nation anymore, we don't have the players to just expect to win these games and just expect to qualify for competitions.' This is true to an extent but people go too far! We still have better 11's than anybody else in our group! Better squad too. Perhaps it's more difficult to compete head on with Spain and co but not mid range teams! Lol.

'A draw will do. Job done.' Yeah, right. We haven't diminshed to the point where we have to hatch a plan to scrape a draw every time we play somebody that's not a minnow! It's job done in terms of the scenario were in, i guess, a draw keeps us top, but we shouldn't be playing the scenario! Play Ukraine. We're better than them even with all the injuries. Go out and play them to beat them. If we did that with EVERYBODY in our group we wouldn't even be in this position, we would win more than we would lose (or draw, as in tonight) and have more points than we have right now.

Too negative for me at the minute. We're going to go from being accused of being arrogant a few years ago to being insecure! Big Laugh

Wait until tne FIFA rankings are updated, I expect us to drop out of the top 16 teams in the world for the first time and that alone will probably make Roy Hodgson realise how shit, insecure, predictable we've become!! As Jasper Carrott said of his beloved Birmingham : - "Any much lower we'll fall off the coupon!" And we only scored 8 against San Marino, and Ukraine went one better than us!
