Newcastle have signed Moussa Sissoko from Toulouse on a 6 and a half year contract.
Thats Newcastle's 4th signing this week and our 5th signing in the January transfer window.

Discussions are reported to be under way between Aston Villa and West Ham over Stephen Warnock. He will supposedly be allowed to leave on a free to get him off Villa's payroll.

According to the Posh chairman, Palace have agreed a fee with Peterborough for George Boyd, who apparently is a life-long Eagles fan. So hopefully he'll be able to agree terms

So Samba's move to QPR is complete.
He's a decent player, and could be just what they need in defence with Ryan Nelsen now gone, but 100grand a week ... seriously ... after all that Harry has been saying about the excessive wage bill there, for the club at the foot of the table staring championship football in the face to bring in a player on 100G pw is surely just madness.
The various firms that handle football club administration must be rubbing their hands with glee and preparing to email their credentials through!

That's overrated Redknapp's philosophy though- spend, spend, spend. QPR fans should be worried that he's gonna cause them to 'do a Portsmouth'. £12M & £100k+ a week is utterly obscene and unjustifiable.
